ZVL SERIES OF ZERO-VOLT PROGRAMMABLE DC ELECTRONIC LOADS
(ZVL-E ETHERNET-BASED MODELS 200kW-1.5kW)
Like the ZVL-L
models, AMREL’s ZVL “E” Zero-volt Ethernet-based dc electronic
eLoad
models have the industry’s highest current rating
for “0-Volt” operation. In addition, they offer
Ethernet and USB connectivity as well as
power ratings up to 1.5kW. That’s a lot of power in
a compact fully-integrated, rackmount-ready package.
AMREL’s ZVL “E” Zero-volt Ethernet-based dc electronic eLoads are specifically
designed for single cell fuel cell testing, ultra-low voltage
battery testing, and 0-volt load applications. Custom-tailored
voltage, power & current ratings, optional impedance
measurement, and 16-bit precision make ZVL “E” Zero-volt eLoads perfect for many
diverse applications.
Traditional dc Electronic Load Solutions have inherent
limitations for testing single cell fuel cells and PV cells/modules.
Electronic loads use power-dissipating components that require a
minimum compliance voltage of 0.6Vdc ~ 1.5Vdc for operation.
However, single cell fuel cell and PV cells often require the dc
electronic load to operate at below 0.1Vdc. To meet single
cell fuel testing and PV cell testing requirements, most electronic
loads require an external booster supply. AMREL’s ZVL “E”
Zero-volt Ethernet-based eLoads are
manufactured with built-in booster supplies, substantially reducing
cost and space.
